Dr. Goran Mashanovich

Short Biography

Goran Mashanovich obtained his Dipl. Ing. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical

Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, and PhD from the University

of Surrey, UK. After working for 5 years as a Teaching and Research Assistant at

the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, he joined the Silicon

Photonics Group at the University of Surrey, in 2000. From 2006, he has been the

manager of the group and he has been recently awarded a Royal Society

Research Fellowship.

Research Interests

Goran's research interests include silicon photonics and fibre optic sensors.
